Kids grow so quickly that it’s a challenge to keep up with their wardrobe needs in the best of times. It’s especially challenging during COVID times. Our Little Academy families didn’t have to worry about how they were going to equip their children with winter clothing this year. Through the incredible generosity of our supporters we were able to supply coats, hats, gloves, scarves and warm winter clothing for every child AND their siblings.
Our Little Academy kids take a lot of pride in their chosen coats – showing off their dinosaur, hearts or rainbow themed coats with joy. In fact, one OLA kiddo loves his coat so much he often refuses to take it off after playing outside. If allowed he would eat lunch and take a nap in his coat every day. The Our Little Academy staff gently reassure him that his coat is safe while it hangs on the hallway coat hooks and he will get to wear it home at the end of the day.
The Holiday Season can be tough for many families. Unfortunately, the added stress of the pandemic has only made these times tougher for those already struggling.
