We use the information only to respond to requests from the individual and to provide better service to the individual.

We honor any request by any individual to remove and delete any and all personal information once requested by the individual.
In regards to on-line financial donations to Our Little Haven, we use the information only to access and process donated funds. Per accounting principles, we retain the information for a minimum period of time. During that time, the information is maintained in a locked file cabinet (with access limited to 2 senior staff members) which is located in a locked room within a locked, alarmed, and secured building. Once the information can be released from our retention, we do not retain the information but instead, we destroy (shred) the information.

We make every effort to protect our constituents, friends, and donors from unauthorized access to any personal information. We do this by using encrypted services using SSL and other state of the art security processes as provided by our bank (Jefferson Bank & Trust), our annual audit provider (RubinBrown), and security the offices of our IT consultant (Acropolis.) We routinely review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including security measures, to guard against unauthorized access. And, we limit access to the information to a select few senior staff members of Our Little Haven who are subject to strict confidential obligations and responsibilities.
