Our Annual Golf Tournament took place on Monday, September 24th and Tuesday, September 25th at Sunset Country Club.
The forecast for both days were not looking bright. The weatherman was calling for thunderstorms in the mornings and throughout the day. Lucky for us, the rain held out and we were blessed with two beautiful days of golf. Both days started off with a buffet style lunch on the beautiful Sunset patio, followed a round of 18 holes.
All golfers were able to enter into our “golf gambles” games. The gambles included a “ball drop”, a raffle for a kitchen-aid mixer donated by Marcone, and our putt-to-win contest. To participate in the ball drop (pictured below), each player gets three numbered golf balls. The numbered golf balls are put into a bucket and then dropped from a lift – thanks to icon Mechanical. Whichever ball lands in the hole first, wins the 50/50! Congrats Gentlemen to all the winners of our raffle, ball drop, and put-to-win!
Monday evening we hosted our Golf Dinner Celebration sponsored by Enterprise Bank & Trust in the Sunset Country Club Ballroom. Over 100 golfers and guests were in attendance. The money raised at our Fund-A-Need will go towards providing new roofs for our administration building located on Lindell Blvd and our Taylor Family Foster Care Center located on West Pine. Thank you to everyone who attended dinner and supported this project! Following our Fund-A-Need we hosted our live auction, which featured trips to Sanibel Island, amazing seats at the Blues games, a pig roast for a party of 30, and more!
