Programs

Through early intervention programs designed for children's individual and complex needs, Our Little Haven cares for the whole child: mind, body and soul.

Residential Treatment
Therapeutic residential treatment provides 24-hour care with intensive early intervention services for young children. Our Little Haven is licensed to provide therapeutic treatment for children ages birth through their 10th birthday. Children may be in the foster care system or receiving supportive services through Adoption Subsidy or referred by the Department of Mental Health. (More on this program.)

Psychological & Counseling Services

• Outpatient Assessment & Treatment: Our Little Haven offers outpatient counseling and psychological services to the general public.
• Parent-Child Interaction Therapy: Parent-Child Interaction Therapy promotes a closer, more cooperative relationship between a parent and their 2-12 year old child and reduces problem behaviors.
• The Parent/Child Program: This 12-week therapeutic group is attended by parents, caregivers and children together to teach a new, closer way to be a family.

Therapeutic Preschool "Our Little Academy"
Our Little Academy is Our Little Haven’s therapeutic preschool. This innovative day treatment program is unique to the region, one of only three such programs licensed by the Department of Mental Health in the State of Missouri as a Preschool Day Treatment Facility. (More on this program.)

Foster Care Case Management
Our Little Haven’s contracted Foster Care Case Management Unit located in the Taylor Family Care Center Building provides services for children and families involved in the foster care system due to abuse and/or neglect. (More on this program.)

Affiliates and Credentials
Our Little Haven is licensed by the Missouri Children's Division and by the Missouri Department of Mental Healti and is COA (Council On Accreditation) accredited.

We are a member of the Missouri Coalition of Children’s Agencies. Our Little Haven is not a United Way member agency. Information may be obtained through the Gateway Center for Giving and Our Little Haven is listed in the GuideStar Data Base. Our Little Haven has received the highest rating of the Better Business Bureau of our region. View our BBB report.

Our Little Haven has received the Founder's Award of Fontbonne University, the Pro Meritis Award and Distinguished Alumni Award of Rockhurst University, the University of Missouri-St. Louis Social Service Agency Award, Doctors of Humanities and Alumni of the Year of St. Louis University, The Princeton Award of Princeton University Alumni, the Commerce Community Award of Commerce Bank, the Classic Award of Traditional Home Magazine and the Child Advocate Award of Children's Hospital St. Louis.
